About Birch Prospects Scholarship Athletic Recruiting

Birch Prospects is a scholarship recruiting service with locations in Canada and the U.S., and contacts in over 5,000 universities and colleges across North America. Our goal is to match young athletes with the schools and scholarships that will enable them to continue playing the sport they love while pursuing a post-secondary education.

For young athletes, making the leap to playing collegiate sports is intimidating. Between staying on top of their education, focusing on their sport, and in many cases working, it's incredibly challenging to also wade through the complexities of seeking out athletic scholarships and awards. However, U.S. colleges and universities are awarding billions of dollars every year to athletes, and for the majority of players, the only way to receive funding is to seek it out.

With around 800 successful athlete placements, including 25 MLB draft picks, Birch Prospects has a history of finding the best match for every individual client's needs, both academic and athletic, and negotiating and offer that will ensure it is financially viable.

All we require from our clients is:

  • A one-time fee of $1,200 Canadian dollars
  • A video the client's athletic performance
  • Completion of the application form (available upon request)

If you are interested in our services or have any questions whatsoever, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In accordance with NCAA rules, Birch Prospects in no way intends to, or constitutes any attempt to, place a student athlete at any particular college. Birch Prospects fees are not based on placement nor on any scholarship or financial aid awarded to prospective student athletes. We operate in accordance to NCAA Bylaw 12.3.3.1 Talent Evaluation Services and Agents. A prospect may allow a scouting service or agent to distribute personal information (e.g., high-school academics and athletics records, physical statistics) to member institutions without jeopardizing his or her eligibility, provided the fee paid to such an agent is not based on placing the prospect in a collegiate institution as a recipient of institutional financial aid. The student athlete agrees to read and follow correspondence from Birch Prospects representatives, and authorize Birch Prospects to release their grade/test scores to all colleges and universities.
